The performers for the final theme song and a new guide video that highlights the series’ setting and characters have been announced for “Promise of Wizard” (Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku), an upcoming TV anime based on the Coly smartphone game. Starting on January 6, 2025, the series will air in Japan on TOKYO MX and other networks.\
The Promise of Wizard TV anime will direct by Naoyuki Tatsuwa at Liden Films, an animation company. Shuji Katayama composes the music, with Pony Canyon producing it; Nanami Higuchi composes the series and writes the screenplays; and Nozomi Nagatomo designs the characters and acts as the primary animator. Produced by HoneyWorks, the series’ ending theme, “Bokura wa Ai ni Koishite Ikiru” (“We Live in Love with Love”), is performed by voice unit LIPxLIP.
The Promise of Wizard anime tells the story of Akira Masaki, a regular young woman from Earth who is called to a magical fantasy world to train wizards from five different countries and act as a wise-woman in order to combat “The Great Calamity,” an annual supernatural threat that manifests as a giant moon.
