Legendary singer Rafi may have his biopic The singer’s son, Shahid Rafi revealed. It is still on the making. The news was shared in the 55th International Film Festival in Goa, when a tribute was paid to the singer Though the announcement is not yet official.
The film is said to be directed by the OMG- Oh My God fame director Umesh Shukla. Shahid added that the announcement will be made in December, that he is going to narrate the story of Rafi Sahab. Songs sung by Rafi Sahab would also be a part of the film.

Mohammed Rafi is one of the most celebrated singers in the music industry with Almost 4,500 songs in Hindi and also a few non hindi songs between 1945- 1980. Initially he used to sing Indian classical. He learned music from popular singers like Ustad Abdul wahid Khan, Pandit Jiwan Lal Matto and Firoze Nizami. He did his first stage performance at the age of 13 at Lahore. When he entered the Hindi film industry. He made a blast byu making back to back superhit songs like “ Ajj Mausam Bada Beiman”,”Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe”,” Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar”, “Yeh Reshmi Zulfein” and many more.
