A new teaser trailer and teaser artwork for the newest upcoming animated adaptation of the well-liked light novel series, “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus,” have been released. Reina Ueda will provide the voice of Miniskirt Santa, a new character that makes an appearance in the “University Arc,” according to the series. In Japan, the show will premiere in 2025.
Written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi, the original “Rascal Does Not Dream” light novels were released in Japan by ASCII Media Works under the Dengeki Bunko banner. An English-language edition is also published by Yen Press. The series has already been made into a TV anime in 2018 and three anime films that were released in theatres in 2019 and 2023, respectively.

The anime is directed by Soichi Masui at CloverWorks, an animation studio. Fox Capture Plan supplies the soundtrack, Satomi Tamura creates the character designs, and Masahiro Yokotani composes the series.
