Ulajh is an attempted plot trying to find numerous ways to get the story into track. The movie starts with Suhana(Jhanvi Kapoor) , an Indian Foreign Service officer gets posted in London and faces challenges in every path. She is constantly attempting to prove her worth to her father. In the process, she gets cheated by a conman, Nakul(Gulshan Devaiah), who claims to love her. He attempts to get close to her. She tries to get confidential information from her by blackmailing her. Things start getting difficult for her day by day.

Everybody around her seems suspicious. Unless, she understands her worth and fights back. The film, despite having a good plot, lacks clarity. The first half of the movie focuses on Suhana’s insecurities in particular, whereas, the second half fails to give a proper aim to the story.
Gulshan Devaiah never fails to disappoint his audience. After Bad Cop, this is one of the unforgettable roles portrayed by him. The way he changed his attitude and style, after his real identity was revealed is unmatchable. He grabs all the attention in the movie. I have no words to explain his amazing acting. Jhanvi Kapoor’s acting is a bit disappointing. She lacks expressions and suitable pauses in the dialogue delivery. Adil Khan did his part effortlessly. Rajesh Tailash’s screen presence had an amazing impact on the scenes. The best part is that the supporting actors played a very important role in the overall plot of the film.

The pace of the movie was not fully aligned to the story. Director Sudhanshu Saini tried his best to bring the essence of the story. But, unfortunately, he was not fully successful in his attempt. The scenes were not positioned in a suitable manner. It lacked clarity.
The story was quite interesting . Modifying it in some of the parts would have been better. Overall, Ulajh is a good movie for a one time watch.
