Will this South Delhi princess find her place in the city of dreams? Whatever happens, a bae-ry interesting story awaits!
Storyline
The lead role is effortlessly owned by Bella Choudhary (Aananya Pandey) ,our high-class sensation—just call her Bae!.
A rich South Delhi nob gets thrown out of her house in downpour after her husband finds her flirting with the trainer. Now our high class diva is on the road with her adorable Gucci suitcase, accompanied only by her pricey clothes and accessories
Our girl is now on a mission of being independent (because let’s face it, it’s not like she has any other options left! ). But is landing a job really that easy for her? With some qualifications like ‘psychic vegan cheese and wine pairing’ and ‘David Beckham studies’.
But luckily her course in ‘how to do in-depth stories in less than 140 characters’( or in simple terms Social Media Journalism) saves her day. This wins her an internship at a leading news channel (I wish finding a job were this easy) where the staff roams around wearing spaceman costumes and leopard prints.
And thanks to Bollywood’s love towards happy endings —-—- our bae begins adjusting in her new no-so-fairytale-like life.
REVIEW
Even though the movie is far away from reality where battling unemployment feels more like a fantasy it’s still worth a short. It is a swoon worthy series which makes life look like a cute little fairy tail where everything is possible.
The story not only revolves around ruckus but also touches some segments of deep emotions like effects of childhood neglect or loneliness. Maybe they didn’t portray it as deep as they could have yet the little scenes like our usually cheerful bae talking to her bag (which, by the way, has a name) with tearful eyes, or clinging to every chance to chat with someone, even if that someone happens to be a homeless criminal in jail, “because hey, a conversation’s a conversation, right?”
